Culebra the island itself...

Culebra's series of bays, peninsulas, and bars create a long and intricate shoreline, some of which end in abrupt cliffs, sandy shores, or mangrove forests. The principal harbor, Ensenada Honda, is considered to be one of the most secure hurricane harbors in the Caribbean. The topography of Culebra is irregular with low elevation hills. Mount Resaca is the tallest hill on the island at 650 ft.

The island of Culebra lies approximately 17 miles east of Puerto Rico, 12 miles west of St. Thomas and 9 miles north of Vieques. Its total area, including surrounding cays, is 7,000 acres

Culebra is our little paradise away from the everyday life. Casa Lucky is in a quiet family neighborhood, five minutes from Playa Flamenco and downtown. We have tried to think of all the comforts of home to make your stay the best. There are 3 bedrooms. One with a queen size bed, one with 2 twin beds and one with a twin bed. There is a queen size futon in living room,a fully equipped kitchen, TV with Cable, internet ready connection, a DVD player and a large outdoor grill. Everything is furnished, so all you need is your bathing suit. Come join us on the beach.

Getting around the island is just as easy...

As looking for your nearest jeep rental location. Transportation to Culebra is via charter plane from San Juan, PR as well as by boat, or ferry if you prefer. One of 2 best ways to get around is via Jeep / scooters or bicycles traveling all the historic trails and roadways or by boat exploring the vast reefs the surround Culebra.

It would always be wise to book your rentals in advance if you do plan to travel during the peek season.
